On the heels of his completely sold-out 17-stop nationwide tour, which concluded with a triumphant homecoming show at New York's Webster Hall, NYC rapper-producer Xaviersobased has shared his latest single "Walk To Me", out now via 1-chance / Surf Gang Records, alongside an accompanying music video.
Produced by ooskully, "Walk To Me" dives back into the blown-out, layered jerk-rap sound that the 22-year-old rapper has pioneered. The track follows the surprise release of his latest EP Once More (Pitchfork 8.0), capping off a massive 2025 for Xavier.
The project featured standout single "uncomfy" with OsamaSon, which earned high praise including #9 on Pitchfork's Best Rap Songs of 2025 list + #41 on their Best Songs of 2025 list, as well as #21 on The FACE year end Best Songs list.
Once More arrived as the follow-up to his two breakout 2024 tapes With 3 and Keep It Goin xav, the latter of which earned a Best New Music nod from Pitchfork.
Amidst these releases, Xavier has continued his run of high-profile collaborations, with "Impact" featuring Virginia rapper Nettspend and "MANNEQUIN" off Che's July album REST IN BASS.
