Portugal. The Man return with SHISH, the band’s 10th album and their most revealing work yet.

Written and recorded largely by frontman John Gourley and producer Kane Ritchotte in Gourley’s Oregon home studio, SHISH draws deeply from Gourley’s upbringing on the fringe of the Alaskan wilderness, exploring family, survival, resilience and the lessons passed down through generations.

From the thrash-fuelled “Pittman Ralliers” to the dreamy “Tanana” and anthemic first single “Denali”, SHISH finds Portugal. The Man embracing a new sense of freedom while staying rooted in the soul, psychedelia and sincerity that have defined their sound.

Following the global success of “Feel It Still”, SHISH marks another unexpected chapter for one of Alaska’s most distinctive musical exports.
