Florence Road are riding a meteoric wave straight to Australia for two special headline sideshows, alongside their mainstage appearances at Laneway Festival 2027. Hailing from Bray, County Wicklow, their trajectory skyrocketed after early songwriting snippets went viral online, making Irish music history when they became the first all-female band to reach #1 on the Irish Airplay chart with their breakout single Hanging Out To Dry.
Formed organically by four best friends - frontwoman Lily Aron, guitarist Emma Brandon, bassist Ailbhe Barry, and drummer Hannah Kelly - the band draws on diverse rock influences, earning comparisons to The Cranberries for Lily's hauntingly clear and impassioned vocals. Off the back of a career-defining summer that saw the band instantly sell out tours across the US and Ireland, to Reading & Leeds, and monumental support slots for Olivia Rodrigo and Wolf Alice, Florence Road are set to deliver unforgettable shows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre.
