In anticipation of their new album being released tomorrow, The Smith Street Band have announced their “Life After Football” Australian Tour. Life After Football is The Smith Street Band’s follow up to their ARIA #1 charting album Don’t Waste Your Anger & was again recorded by bass player Fitzy at the band’s solar powered studio in regional Victoria.
Featuring the singles ‘I Don’t Wanna Do Nothing Forever’, ‘Everyone Is Lying To You For Money’, ‘Life After Football’ & ‘A Conversation With Billy Bragg About The Purpose Of Art, Life After Football was mixed by Anton Hagop (Silverchair, Powderfinger) & mastered by George Georgidis.
The Life After Football Australian Tour will take place over February, March & April 2023, The Smith Street Band will visit most capital cities in Australia & will kick off the tour with their first ever show in Albury.
The Life After Football Australian Tour will see The Smith Street Band joined by old tour mates, Press Club who are fresh off a huge European tour, the two bands did a massive 35 date Australian tour together in 2018. Press Club recently released their third album Endless Motion.
