PUSH is a DIY print mag spotlighting Sydney’s best emerging creatives, including musicians, artists, designers, poets, dancers, filmmakers, and more. Over the past couple of years, they’ve built a cult following for throwing sold-out backyard gigs, warehouse parties, art shows, a beach rave and even a short film festival (often in collaboration with other local legends). Their obsession with throwing gigs, in particular, got so out of hand that this year PUSH launched a new live music arm: Dogs Run Free.

Week 3 of ‘Dogs Run Free in the CBD’ showcases the next generation of Australian bedroom pop, with 20-year-old Gordon’s Grandson coming up, both figuratively and literally, as he travels from Naarm to headline the Metro Social. Supporting him is Sydney’s Theeth, the young pop singer-songwriter already getting love from triple j, Spotify, and mentor Alice Ivy, all before graduating high school
