Five-time GRAMMY-nominated guitarist and songwriter Kenny Wayne Shepherd returns to Australia following a six-year hiatus, performing live at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Sunday 5 April 2026.
Shepherd first burst onto the scene as a teenage prodigy with the release of Ledbetter Heights in 1995. Thirty years later, he remains one of the leading figures in contemporary blues-rock, bridging the gap between traditional roots influences and modern electric energy.
Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Ledbetter Heights, Shepherd will perform a career-spanning set that includes fan favourites such as Blue on Black, Deja Voodoo and Everything Is Broken, alongside songs from his latest releases. His performances are renowned for their technical brilliance, soulful emotion and powerful connection with audiences.
Last touring Australia in 2018, Shepherd returns in 2026 with renewed purpose and an exceptional live band. This long-awaited show marks his first visit to Australia in six years and promises an unforgettable evening of masterful guitar work and authentic blues-rock intensity.
