WINGS Independent Fashion Festival returns this May as a month-long residency at The Metro Social, expanding into a weekly program of runway, performance and sound.

Each Wednesday, two designers transform the space through immersive presentations that move beyond the traditional runway, integrating live music, art and installation into a continuous experience.

The 2026 residency features A-D ATELIER, BAAQIY, LANTERNA, PIGSUIT, RÉSEAU, SHIYO, SPEED and WIERD WORLD ORDER, bringing together a new wave of designers who challenge the conventions of fashion presentation, extending beyond the garment into fully realised worlds where runway becomes performance.

BAAQIY operates at the intersection of culture and craftsmanship, creating garments that reflect heritage, identity and contemporary form. The label’s work is grounded in storytelling, where clothing becomes a vessel for deeper cultural expression.

A-D ATELIER presents a directional approach to design, merging conceptual construction with sharp, modern tailoring. Their work explores proportion and form, positioning fashion as both structural and expressive.
