Presented by the Texas Music TakeoverSam Riggs, an American Country Music singer songwriter with over 30 million streams on Spotify, and the uber-talented Joey Green, an established country music rocker, you may recognise from NBC’s The Voice (US), will perform an intimate acoustic performance sharing the stories behind their songs.

Given the choice, Sam Riggs would take skydiving over watching movies on any given Sunday. That sense of daring is a key element in his brand of country, a rock-infused sound with a chip on its sonic shoulder from a guy who counts Garth Brooks, Foo Fighters, Eric Church and A Day to Remember among his influences. His February release ‘Game Boy’ continues to climb, exceeding 10,000 streams a day.

Most recently known for his success on NBC’s The Voice, Green has become a household name in North Texas for his rock ‘n’ roll to soul country rollercoaster ride of a live show. He has toured with acts such as Eli Young Band, Kevin Fowler, Sean McConnell and Randy Rogers.
