We are thrilled to announce that Britpop legends Supergrass will tour Australia in April and May. This five-date run will be their first headline shows on our shores in twelve years and will coincide with the band’s recently-announced six scheduled performances at Groovin The Moo festivals across Australia.

The exciting news follows the band’s announcement in September 2019 that they were reforming after a ten-year split to tour the United Kingdom, Europe and North America in celebration of their seminal debut album I Should Coco’s 25th anniversary.

The band’s surprise reunion show was well-received by fans and critics alike, with Evening Standard declaring Supergrass ‘back in action and strong as ever’.

Australian alt-rockers Rocket Science will be joining Supergrass at all shows. The two bands are no strangers to sharing the stage; Rocket Science, having supported Supergrass on their 2002 Australian tour before going on to open for the band at many of their shows across the globe. The Melbourne band are known and loved for their signature blend of garage, psych and post-punk, showcased in iconic tracks like ‘Burn In Hell’, ‘One Robot’ and ‘Being Followed’. Rocket Science released Snake in August 2019, their first album since disbanding eleven years earlier, and spent the months that followed touring the country with their renowned live show.

Don’t miss your chance to experience one of Supergrass’ first Australian performances in more than ten years.
