EVENT RESCHEDULED

Bluesfest Touring, the promoter of Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles has regretfully advised that this event has been rescheduled with a new date to be confirmed.

Once the new show date is confirmed we will update this webpage and Ticketek will contact patrons directly.

Ticketek will give you the option of transferring tickets to the new event date or if you are unable to attend, you will receive a full refund.

“We are heartbroken to advise that Bluesfest 2020 and all of the shows around it presented by Bluesfest Touring cannot proceed.

As you may in no doubt be aware, on Sunday night (15/03/2020), the NSW Health Minister issued a Public Health (COVID-19 Public Events) Order 2020, as Health Ministers across the nation have done the same. A copy of this Public Health Order is available via their website. It is clear from the order that events of over 500 people are now banned. We, therefore, have taken all of Bluesfest Touring tickets off sale.

We are now working with artist representatives to see what the future holds and are asking everyone to hold their tickets until this process is completed and we have provided further updates.

We are receiving a lot of supportive messages that are truly appreciated in these unprecedented times and we thank everyone for their continuous support.

Please note that Bluesfest Touring is deeply concerned about the wellbeing of its patrons, artists and staff and everyone affected by this.

We will be in touch as soon as we have received further developments.”

Bringing their unique soul, jazz and gospel music – Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles will bless Australia & New Zealand with their debut tour this April!

Cory Henry is among modern music’s most inventive minds. While mastering multiple instruments at a young age, he dominated the stage as a former member of Snarky Puppy. Cory’s name as a solo artist has risen to the top, performing in cities and festivals around the world including Okeechobee, Electric Forest, North Sea Jazz and Love Supreme Festival.

In 2018, Cory independently released his first collection of songs entitled “Art of Love” and has worked with Lauryn Hill, Frank Ocean, J. Cole, Vulfpeck and many more. He was also selected by Quincy Jones to headline his curated “Soundtrack of America” series opening of The Shed in New York City. The upcoming self-titled Cory Henry and The Funk Apostles album exhibits his vocal talents and emphasizes the new sound and vibes he wants to innovate for the world to sing along with. “We are on our way. Tell Everybody. How many bodies? Everybody!”

Comprised of five of the world’s best musicians, hand-picked to bring his musical concepts to life The Funk Apostles are a worthy band to the charismatic stage presence of Cory Henry. Get it while it’s hot!
