With the release of their debut album Shadowboxer just two weeks away, Mansionair have recently revealed another taste of the record in ‘We Could Leave’ and confirmed an Australian tour this year.

Live, the band shine; their engaging, tight sets well-honed after numerous tours both local and abroad. Most recently, Mansionair performed at this year’s Laneway Festival.

“We’ve spent four years working on our debut album Shadowboxer and we’re beyond excited to put it on a stage in front of our beautiful Australian audience. We’re hitting some new cities we’ve never played before as well as the old favs. Come bring Shadowboxer to life with us.” – M x

Their long-awaited debut album, Shadowboxer , was written and self-produced over a three-year period – in living rooms, studios, a garage in inner-city Sydney, and finally a cabin in the Californian mountains – in between the band’s travels and touring. It’s the culmination of a journey that started with a viral hit single – ‘Hold Me Down’ – and led to high profile collaborations, a Grammy-nomination, ARIA and Billboard charting singles and several major support tours (CHVRCHES, Florence & The Machine, London Grammar and Bob Moses). But it’s also an album reflective of everything the band were going through personally and creatively – from mental health to sickness, relationship breakdowns to the ordinary coming-of-age struggles of youth.
