Award-winning English rapper, singer, songwriter and producer, TINIE TEMPAH, returns to Australia for his first headline shows since 2014.
The inimitable Tinie Tempah shot to prominence in 2010 with his debut album, Disc-Overy – featuring two UK No.1s “Pass Out” and “Written in the Stars” – and followed with his sophomore album, Demonstration, also home to two UK No.1s.
Tinie has again reached commercial success with “Not Letting Go” and his latest single, “Girls Like”, from his eagerly anticipated third album, Youth, due to drop this summer.
Since Tinie burst onto the scene six years ago numerous awards have followed, including: Best Breakthrough Act and Best Single at the BRITs, Best Newcomer at the MOBOs and an Ivor Novello for Best Contemporary Song.
Now with a total of six UK No.1s to his name, Tinie has as many UK No.1s as Michael Jackson, U2, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams and Elton John, and to date holds the most UK No.1s this decade.
His high profile live shows include the closing ceremony of the Olympics, every major festival from Coachella to Glastonbury, as well as supporting the likes of Jay-Z, Usher and Rihanna.
Tinie’s collaborative projects swing between electronic, hip hop and pop heavyweights, ranging from Dizzee Rascal, Tom Rowland of The Chemical Brothers, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sandé, Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding and Kelly Rowland.
It’s no wonder Tinie Tempah is hailed as one of the most important UK artists of his generation.
