Enter the Phatcave – the comedians’ late night playground, the after hours (un)safe haven where all your favourite comics let loose, go scriptless and face off with peers and audiences alike. This internationally acclaimed powerhouse earned a reputation for being the most raucous late night comedy hot spot at the world famous Edinburgh Festival and has also enjoyed sell out success at Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Wellington and Auckland comedy festivals. The Phatcave originated in Edinburgh 2004 amoungst the gritty catacombes of the old city, twas a medieval storage cave that saw the beginnings of a whole new culture of risky freformed late night comedy, where the comics come to play rather than run standard sets and routines.

Combining a unique blend of comedians and perfomers from all over the globe; this is where thier wonderful worlds meet, this is where the artists come to play, not present thier schtick.
