Having just completed a standout performance at the Days Like These Festival in Sydney, New Zealand reggae-soul heavyweights The Black Seeds announce a 5-show Australian tour this March, 2010.
Their first full Australian tour since 2008, The Black Seeds have been well and truly spreading their unique brand of reggae around the globe in recent years with numerous European festival tours, and the successful North American release of Solid Ground last year with top U.S label Easy Star Records, supported by a 12-show tour.
Described by Clash Magazine as ‘one of the best live reggae acts on the planet’, The Black Seeds bring the raw energy and good vibes wherever they go with a legendary 8-piece live show that delivers a boundary-crossing fusion of big-beat funk, dub, soul, afro-beat, mixed with vintage roots-reggae.
The March tour supports the Australian release of latest single ‘Love Is a Radiation’, off the platinum-selling Solid Ground. A new limited edition live album The Black Seeds Live: Vol 1 will also be available exclusively at the live shows.
