Black Francis returns to Australia for his first headline shows in over a decade. As well as performing old favorites, Black Francis will showcase tracks from his recent releases Bluefinger and Svn Fngrs.
Boisterous and meticulous, Bluefinger (originally earmarked as the ever-illusive fifth Pixies album) and Svn Fngrs have announced to the world that Black Francis’ songwriting and performance skills are as potent as ever.
Media and fans alike have gushed over the latest offerings from Black Francis and there’s no doubt they will take on an added dimension in the live arena. Support for this show will come from Brisbane upstarts Violent Soho.
After years on the road perfecting their craft, Violent Soho released their debut record We Don’t Belong Here earlier this year to critical acclaim. Quiet, loud and tough (and that’s just during the span of one song) they’ll set your night off on the right foot.
